Although we have been designing and building custom systems and networks since before opening our doors in 2000, our main focus has always been on the service and repair of both desktop and laptop systems. Nowadays you can buy a computer almost anywhere, but when it comes to having it repaied where are you going to take it when it crashes - and you know eventually it is going to crash!
As we find the cost of new systems to be on a constant decline, it's impossible for the mom & pop shops (such as ours) to compete on a price level with the big boys like Dell, HP, Toshiba, Sony, etc. And since the cost of buying a new system has dropped so drastically, it's a tough call when deciding to repair an old system or invest a little more money into buying a new system. This is where we shine compared to the quickly disappearing computer shops n the South Bay.
We take great pride in the fact that many times we find ourselves, as the saying goes, "cutting off our nose to spite our face!" To clarify, more times than not we will do our best to talk a customer out of spending (wasting) their money to have us cleanup an old worn out system in lieu of spending a bit more and buying a new one - whether it be from PC Parlor, Best Buy, Sam's Club, Costco, etc.
From an income standpoint one could obviously see how that would be considered "bad business practice", however, over the years we have learned that in the end it's "that" honesty that pays off. As foolish as it may sound to turn business like that away, our customers always comment how much they appreciate our honesty - and in sticking to our business model, that's what keeps them coming back!
Over 97% of our customers have walked through our doors because of a referral; we have done almost no advertising over the last ten years, yet still have a client base of over 5000 and growing. I guess you could say "the proof is in the pudding!"
The trust and honesty that we instill keeps our customers coming back, and the main reason why you need to stop by and see for yourself. If for no other reason than to check out our new location and chat with our incredibly friendly/knowledgeable staff - hang around for awhile, get a feel for the place, ask questions, and even answer the phones if you want! I can almost guarantee your first visit will convince you that we'll be seeing you in the near future for service!
Sincerely,
Tony Musorafite
President, PC Parlor
